La Torre Golf Resort.
La Torre Golf Resort is considered to be the best of several resorts built by Murcia's leading residential golf resort developer - Polaris World. La Torre Golf Resort features a Florida-style 18 hole golf course designed by Nicklaus Design. The golf course provides a good test of golf for golfers of all levels, with many water features and huge bunkers to negotiate. The resort has a stunning clubhouse, a five star Inter-continental Hotel, several bars and restaurants including a paella restaurant, Italian and Tapas restaurants. There is a supermarket, newspaper kiosk, bicycle hire and even a travel agent offering local tours and excursions. La Torre Golf Resort forms part of the Nicklaus Golf Trail - there are 3 other 18 hole Nicklaus golf courses of differing styles and difficulty within 10 kms of the resort - come and play them all!
The resort is situated about 15 minutes from the beaches of the Mar Menor, 15 minutes from Murcia-San Javier airport, and only one hour from Alicante. If you do not wish to hire a car we can arrange collection from these airports for you - see below for rates.
The Area
Murcia offers plenty to do for all visitors. Of course there are numerous sandy beaches surrounding the Mar Menor lagoon (the largest salt water lagoon in Europe) along with more beaches lining the Mediterranean Sea. Local towns worth visting include Murcia City, with it's stunning Moorish cathedral, leafy squares and excellent restaurants. Also worth visiting is the Roman port town of Cartegena, which offers great shopping and a Roman amphi-theatre. Cabo de Palos a beautiful harbour town situated 35 minutes from La Torre Golf Resort and offers great sea-front restaurants and a fantastic Sunday market. Other areas of interest include Lorca castle and the holy town of Caravaca de la Cruz. For the more adventurous there are stunning nature reserves such as the Sierra Espuna to explore or even white water rafting along the River Segura.
How to get there.
Flying into Murcia-San Javier airport is easiest. The resort is only 15 minutes from the airport and very easy to reach. Alternatively you can fly into Alicante which is only one hour from the resort. Click the link below to find cheap flights.

VILLA 1: this is a two bedroom, two bathroom detached villa furnished to a very high standard and benefiting from a top of the range jacuzzi SPA situated on the roof terrace solarium.
This villa has a double room, a twin room, two bathrooms and a sofa bed should an extra bed be required. The villa is situated just two minutes walk from a large communal pool and two tennis courts (see full details for more images).
This villa is situated next door to VILLA 2 - so could be ideal for larger parties or two families travelling together.

VILLA 2: this is a two bedroom, two bathroom villa furnished to a high standard and benefiting from a private swimming pool in the fenced rear garden. The pool has a child safety fence for added peace of mind.
The villa has a double room, a twin room, two bathrooms plus a sofa bed. Situated next door to VILLA 1, these villas could be rented together for larger groups and would provide four bedrooms, a private swimming pool and a jacuzzi.
This villa is situated two minutes walk from a large communal swimming pool and tennis courts.

VILLA 3: this is a two bedroom, two bathroom villa furnished to a very high standard and benefiting from a lovely private swimming pool in the fenced and terraced South facing rear garden.
The villa has two twin bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fitted kitchen with granite work-surfaces and a child safety fence fo added peace of mind. This villa has many extras included and is situated in a perfect position.
